[Triangle-AR] New to the Area

The season is kind of wrapping up, but here are a few things to do:
There's always the local orienteering club events, to keep your navigation
skills sharp:

Other than that I know that some folks from our team are doing the Black
Beard AR and Dance with the Devil MTB races in the next few weeks.
There's also the NC Cyclo-cross series starting up now and those last
through the winter.
And my favorite local race is the Soup Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday. The bike
trails are only open once a year for 30 days for this race.
But anytime you go out training send a message here and you may get some
folks to show up. We've been a little slack about doing small "training
races" near by, though Charlie put one on in the mountains earlier this year
that had a good turn out. In the past we've often biked after a treklite
orienteering meet. We typically meet at Umstead or Harris Lake.
