New at Adventure Racing Chronicles
ARchronicles.com, an adventure racing training website built by
adventure racers, has been busy adding new features. We just wanted to
send you a quick update for your information and to pass on to your club
or team members.
Gear Gopher Launches! Compare Gear Prices
ARchronicles.com is please to announce the launch of a new FREE resource
for adventure racers. Click one of the gear links on Gear Gopher's main
page and it will go and get the latest prices from up to 11 online
stores. It's been a great time to launch this feature because many of
the online stores are having their Fall clearance sales!
Stores include Backcountry.com, REI, Paragon Sports, Shoes.com, Sierra
Trading Post, Altrec, Bob Wards, Princeton Watches, US Outdoor, Rocky
Mountain Trail, ARgear.com and many more to come! We are also in the
process of building more user-friendly gear search pages that will allow
you to search for items by gear category and brand. Check back to the
website in a few weeks.

Share Your Race or Training Experience
ARchronicles.com is a training website built for adventure racers by
adventure racers. Our year-to-date total page views have just gone over
the 50,000 mark, but we need YOUR HELP.
I would like to put out the request for any articles that you may want
to write, or have written. These articles are usually focused on one
aspect of adventure racing. Check out some of the articles on the site
now by Jenny Hadfield and Teri Smith to get an ideal of style and
length. Your article(s) could be on any aspect of your experiences in
training, with gear and during races. Since both the Beast of the East
and Primal Quest are coming up, there are a lot of racers that have been
requesting articles from others who have had learning experiences at
either of these races.
I would appreciate any articles that you may submit. They can be
e-mailed to chris at ARchronicles.com <mailto:chris at ARchronicles.com> or
you can use the Submit an Article feature on the website at:
http://www.archronicles.com/submitarticle.html Please include a short
bio that will be placed at the bottom of your article, along with a
photo, link to your website, and e-mail address for racers to contact
you (I respect your right to privacy - please let me know if you would
like your e-mail address listed or not). You will be credited as the
author of the article you have written and you will receive promotion
for your knowledge to the AR community which this site serves.
Thanks in advance for helping other adventure racers and building
ARchronicles.com into the leading AR training site on the web.
